A Note About Tariffs — and Some Good News for Our Clients

If you’ve been watching cabinet and hardware prices climb lately, you’re not alone. We feel it, too. Across the building and remodeling industry, tariffs have added new layers of cost and complexity — making some homeowners pause and wonder if now is really the right time to move forward with their projects.
At Cabinet Visions, we completely understand that hesitation. That’s why we took the time to reach out to each of our vendors to find out exactly how they’re responding to these challenges. The good news? Many of them are working hard to absorb extra costs, streamline their production, and soften the impact before it ever reaches you.
Here’s what we learned:
Bridgewood Cabinets – Made right here in the U.S. and holding steady. Bridgewood hasn’t raised prices, which is a welcome bit of stability in an otherwise changing market.
Canyon Creek Cabinet Company – Also U.S.-made, with a few imported components. While prices rose about 4%, Canyon Creek reduced pricing on Alder and Beech wood species and several Katana door styles to help offset those increases.
Häcker Kitchens – Fully manufactured in Germany, but due to a long-standing trade agreement with the EU and an existing contract with us, their prices have only gone up about 10% — far less than we initially feared.
Stoll Industries – By simplifying and standardizing their offerings, Stoll has managed to keep overall price changes minimal, with tariffs already folded into their structure.
KCD Cabinets – Prices did rise by 7.5%, but we’ve negotiated special pricing that keeps this line very affordable for our clients.
Timberline Cabinets – U.S.-made and proud of it. No price increases here, either.
Electric Mirror – Another U.S.-based manufacturer keeping prices stable with no changes at this time.
Berenson Hardware – No current effects from tariffs, though we may see a slight adjustment in early 2026.
Ashley Norton – Prices increased by 10% back in September, but the company continues to absorb as much of the added cost as possible to protect the consumer.
It’s been a challenging season for our industry, but we’re encouraged by how many of our partners are doing their best to keep cabinetry accessible and beautiful projects within reach.
At Cabinet Visions, we remain committed to transparency — and to helping you make informed decisions about your home. If you’ve been putting off your remodel because of price concerns, now might actually be a good time to revisit your plans. We’re happy to walk through your options and help you find the right fit, no surprises. We will continue to monitor the economic situation, and keep you informed.
